Last weekend, I went to a class with a friend who found it uncomfortable to sit cross-legged on the mat. Thank you for the inspiration @steffigraphic

It reminded me how often we move into positions without sensing whether the right connections are available.

In this week’s practice, we explored how the foot, knee, and hip’s relationship to internal and external rotation — beginning on the floor, then seated, and gradually carrying that awareness into standing.

From there, we experimented with spiral movement through the hips and pelvis to support the transition into sitting and standing.

Rather than pushing into position, the focus was on sensing rotation more clearly — so cross-legged sitting can feel more organised and supported.

Rolling pathways from supine to side-lying and into sitting.

These everyday transitions — getting out of bed, coming up to sit, shifting orientation — often reveal where we push or hold unnecessarily.

When the legs, pelvis, and upper body coordinate more clearly, moving between positions can feel lighter and more integrated.

This week’s live practice explores those pathways.

It arrives quietly: “I guess that part of my life is over.”

After enough interruptions — it makes sense to draw that conclusion.

But hesitation is often protection, not proof of limitation.

You’re not broken.
And it’s not too late.

Sometimes what it takes is a shift in belief — and a supportive environment where trust in your body can rebuild gradually.
